European Labour Law

This course ('Kolloquium') will give a comprehensive insight into European Labour Law – its foundation and institutional background, fundamental social rights, the impact of the EU’s fundamental freedoms and cross-border mobility, European legal concepts of workers and employers, and areas of labour law for which European minimum standards have been developed. These include notably standards of equal treatment, working conditions such as health and safety, privacy or working time, the regulation of atypical employment, the restructuring of enterprises, and collective labour rights.
